Waterford mayor has the perfect solution for the people of Limerick down a Christmas market

Waterford Metropolitan Mayor Cllr Adam Wyse has shared an excellent solution for Limerick’s Christmas market problem.

The Irish Times reported on Sunday that Limerick’s directly elected mayor had cancelled this year’s Christmas market.

The Limerick mayor cited concerns around how public money was being spent and the rushed proposals suggesting they get started on a plan for next year.

Cllr Wyse shared the article on social media and commented: “People of Limerick! Feel free to come to Winterval in Waterford instead.”
