Waterford gardaí arrest driver whose learner's permit expired almost 20 years ago

Gardaí from the Waterford Roads Policing Unit have arrested a driver whose learner's permit expired in 2008.
Gardaí said in a post on social media that while conducting a multi agency checkpoint with Customs Officers stopped this vehicle.
They discovered that the driver had an expired permit and did not have insurance.
They said they seized the vehicle and a court appearance will follow.
