Waterford Council’s outdoor staff was praised by local councillors this week.
The work of Waterford Council’s outdoor staff was praised by local councillors this week, after a busy summer of maintenance and repairs.
Cllr Liam Brazil said: “I’d like to thank the outdoor staff for all the work being done during the summer. It's very important they get recognition for all the work they do."
Cllr Catherine Burke added: “I’d like to compliment the roads department. I’ve been working with them closely over the summer and they’ve been absolutely wonderful."
Cllr Declan Clune commended the outdoor team for how quickly they have responded to issues over the summer.
“They are undervalued in many ways," he said.
