· €71,564 for upgrades at Brickey Rangers GAA Club
· €59,528 for upgrades at Fraher Field
· €57,625 for Clashmore Kinsalebeg GAA Club
· €49,979 for Ballymacarbry Tidy Towns
Welcoming the allocation, Minister John Cummins said: “This programme will empower communities in Waterford to take local action on climate change, while also contributing to our national climate and energy goals.
“We’ve already seen some brilliant examples of climate action being taken at a local level in Waterford, underpinned by local authority leadership and community ownership. Projects funded under the programme have delivered a wide range of benefits, including reduced energy costs, enhanced biodiversity and wildlife restoration.
“Not only will they contribute to reaching our climate targets but will make a practical, positive difference for people in their day to day lives."
