A county Waterford business has won a major national retail award.
Quish's SuperValu, in Tramore has once again won the coveted title of 'Retail Store of the Year', and 'Best In-store In-store Off-Licence' at the 2025 National Grocery Retail Awards.
Quish's were the sole winners from Waterford and in winning the award beat off competition from dozens of other nominated stores from across the country.
Commenting on his store's win, owner Cormac Quish said: "We are delighted to have won the National Grocery Retail Awards, Retail Store of the Year for the second year in a row, as well as winning the Best Instore Off-Licence award.
"The competition is fierce, from all over the country, with some amazing stores involved, so it is very gratifying to be recognised," he said.
"It's a reflection of the Trojan work from Niall Shanaghy and all our team that standards continue to rise, and a great reward for the continuous investment in the store," he added.

Mr Quish also acknowledged the support of the store's "loyal customers", commenting: "We wouldn't be here without them. It's really a store worthy of its location in Tramore, one of the best towns in Ireland to live in."
The winners were announced at a prestigious ceremony in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin.
Retailers from all around the country were in attendance, and in her welcoming words, the editor of Checkout magazine, Maev Martin, said: "You are truly the best at what you do, and it is a great privilege for us to be able to honour you today.”
Experienced journalist, interviewer and moderator Claire Brock led the proceedings, announcing awards that celebrated topics such as store design, sustainability, offerings, customer service, and community initiatives.
The awards were also aimed at honouring local stores for their exceptional community contributions by awarding the Highly Commended distinction.
