Waterford ball to raise money for UHW

Juniors for Juniors in Waterford has announced that it is to host a Winter Ball in the prestigious venue of Faithlegg House Hotel.
The black tie charity event will take place on Valentines Day, February 14, and the organisers took delight in announcing details of the ball to Waterford News & Star.
The ball will be an exclusive over-18s event and those behind it said it promises to be an "unforgettable evening of sophistication and celebration" and all in support of a vital cause.
Speaking about the event, Ray Leahy co-founder of Juniors for Juniors said: "The Winter Ball is a chance for us to come together, enjoy a stunning evening, and contribute to a cause that truly matters."
"We’re thrilled to host this event at the beautiful Faithlegg House Hotel and can’t wait to see the community come out in support," he said.
The Winter Ball is being organised to raise funds to directly benefit the Children’s Ward at University Hospital Waterford, supporting Juniors for Juniors’ mission to create a more child-friendly and welcoming environment for young patients and their families.
“This is more than just a night out; it’s an opportunity to transform the hospital experience for children in our community,” said Isobel Flynn, another co-founder of Juniors for Juniors.
“We believe that a brighter, more welcoming environment can make a world of difference for these young patients and their families and create a better work environment for the dedicated paediatric staff who work tirelessly to care for them," she added.
The event will feature a drinks reception, a gourmet dinner from the awarding winning chefs at Faithlegg and live music from the wonderful Brass & Co. Potential guests are invited to enjoy a night of glamour while knowing they will be contributing to a meaningful cause that impacts families.
Tickets for the event are now available online through juniorsforjuniors.ie and all proceeds will go directly to Juniors for Juniors’ initiatives at the Children’s Ward.
