Water supply shut off to Waterford village temporarily

Uisce Éireann will be working to restore water to customers in parts Waterford overnight.
The water supply to Portlaw Village and surrounding areas will be shut off tonight, Wednesday, September 18.
Over the past few days the water supply to the area has been disrupted due to a reservoir interruption.
According to local Councillor Declan Clune, the scheduled works tonight are due to take place between Wednesday, 11pm and 7am.
"This is to allow the supply to build overnight," said Cllr Clune.
"Please do not use washing machines etc during this period," he added.
