WATCH: Tramore fireworks in County Waterford mark the summer season nearing its end

The Tramore fireworks were spectacular again this year.
Thousands of people converged on Tramore town in County Waterford over the weekend to soak in the sun but also to avail of the spectacle of the annual fireworks display in the seaside town.

The fireworks form part of the programmme of events that mark the traditional summer season nearing it's end - although discount prices on the legendary amusements along the Promenade will be in place next weekend.

The fireworks were spectacular and people gained whatever vantage point they could to view them in all their glory.

Tramore is one of the most popular tourist towns in the south east and has a wide range of attractions for visitors and while the summer season is its busiest throughout the year there are also activities in place during the autumn and winter too.
