Uisce Éireann and Waterford City and County Council are advising the public of ongoing works to repair a burst water main in the Pickerstown area of Tramore.

Customers may experience supply disruption while repairs are carried out.

Works are scheduled to be complete by 12pm, today, June 4.

Waterford City and County Council say: "Waterford City & Co. Co. in partnership with Irish Water will work to minimise the impact of any disruption to service and will restore normal supply as soon as possible.

"Customers are advised to run their taps if they experience discolouration when supply is restored. Irish Water Customer Contact Centre on 1800-278-278."
