Two-year-old girl dies in tragic accident

The child was conveyed by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford.
Gardaí in Waterford responded to a call on Wednesday evening, June 5, in relation to a toddler found unresponsive in her home in the Dungarvan area of Co. Waterford.
The child was conveyed by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where she was later pronounced deceased, according to reports from WLR FM.
It's understood that the child was aged two and that a file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
A Family Liaison Officer (FLO) has been appointed to provide support and assistance to the family of the deceased child.
An Garda Síochána told WLR that they were treating the incident as a tragic accident.
