Two men charged in connection with serious assault in Waterford
Waterford gardaí thanked the public for their assistance with the investigation
Two men have been charged in connection with a serious assault in Waterford earlier this month.
According to an update issued by An Garda Síochána, last Thursday, Waterford Crime Unit arrested two males in their 30s.
Both men appeared before Waterford District Court charged assault causing harm contrary to Section 3 Non Fatal Offence Against the Person Act 1997.
and were remanded in custody to June 25.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in Waterford said the injured party has been released from hospital and is recovering.
Gardaí also thanked the public for their assistance with the investigation.
