Gardaí in Waterford have arrested two drivers and seized four vehicles during checkpoints on Tuesday morning, December 31.
Gardaí said on social media they were carrying out a number of High Visibility checkpoints targeting intoxicated drivers in Tramore town.
The two drivers were arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving, and the four vehicles were seized for no documents.
The checkpoints were part of the Christmas Safer Roads campaign.
