Tramore Eco Bus bus on sale for €50,000

The bus was converted from a Dublin Bus vehicle.

The one-of-kind Tramore Eco Bus vehicle has just came on the market, priced at €50,000.

The 'Dervla Decker' bus was lovingly restored and converted from a former Dublin Bus model by couple Mark Graham and Ellie O'Byrne.

The bus sleeps up to 6 people and includes one king-size double bed, two single beds and two bunks.

According to the web listing, the bus has: "storage heaters upstairs and a wood burning stove downstairs provide ample heat for year round living. Fully insulated. Fully plumbed for kitchen and shower, fed by 100L electric water tank. Electric & water hook-up. Cassette toilet allows this mobile & running bus accommodation to be planning exempt. Price includes all kitchen utensils, two complete sets of bed linen. Everything that’s in her. Delivery to your gate can be arranged."

In late 2023, the pair were operating the double-decker bus as an Air B&B, which garnered widespread attention from national and local news outlets.

Now, they are selling her on to help fund an around the world cycling trip.

According to Mark: "It breaks our hearts to let her go, but we’re selling Dervla Dekker, our converted bus home. She’s part of a greater plan to help us realise a life long dream of cycling around the world."
