Temporary measures on Waterford Quay expected for next six weeks

Footpath closed on the quay.
The temporary bus stop on Meagher's Quay will be in place for the next six weeks.
That is according to Waterford City and County Council in response to a query from the Waterford News and Star.
The council spokesperson said that the temporary bus stop is 50m down from the permanent site.
The footpath leading up to the bus stop is also closed.
Pedestrians are redirected to the opposite side of the road at the Clock Tower.
One of the two pedestrian crossings either side of the Clock Tower is closed but the other is available and will remain so for the duration of the works.
Readers will note that there is no access to the temporary bus stop from this open crossing.
The crossing at the Plaza before Greyfriars is open, and the bus stop is accessible from there.
