Waterford City & County Council has announced temporary changes to a prominent taxi rank in the city.
The local authority gave notice that due to Waterford Harvest Festival taking place between September 6 and 8, the Peter Street taxi rank will be closed for three days.
The closure will coincide with the festival dates and will take place from 6am on Friday, September 6, to 10pm on Sunday, September 8.
In its notice the local authority said temporary taxi ranks will be available at Patrick Street and High Street for the duration of the closure.
