SVP in Ferrybank helped 77 families in 2025

The Ferrybank branch of the Society of St Vincent de Paul supported 77 families with the organisation expressing sincere gratitude for the help it received locally - especially at Christmas.

The organisation thanked all those who supported it throughout the year gone with one of those involved commenting that due to people's outstanding generosity, particularly at Christmas, they were able to support 77 families again this year. 

The society also decided, in acknowledgement of how much people had done already, they won't hold a church gate collection this month.

The first church gate collection for 2026 will take place over the weekend of February 7 and 8.
