A status yellow weather warning will come into effect in Waterford this weekend.
Met Éireann says they expect heavy rain with the possibility of thundery downpours on Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
The warning comes into effect from 8pm on Saturday, October 18 and will be in place until 8am on Sunday, October 19.
Localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions are also possible.
