There's a diverse array of guest speakers at the Curious Minds area.

It's not just about the music over at All Together Now.

There's a diverse array of guest speakers set to appear at the All Curious Minds tent at Curraghmore House. 

On Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4 there will be a sparkling lineup of artists, writers, activists, scholars, and advocates holding court to an audience. 

The Global Solidarity Hub will be set up over the weekend, featuring speakers on pressing issues in today's world, including the climate crisis, debates on migration and the intersection of art and activism. 

At 3pm Saturday, the big topic will be on climate activism, hosted by influencer and sustainability advocate Fionnuala Jay and guests Head of Policy and Advocacy at Trocaire Siobhan Curran, Co-Founder of The Useless Project Taz Kelleher, Head of Climate Justice and Sustainability at Bohemian Football Club Sean McCabe and Climate activist and host of The Climate Alarm Clock podcast Darragh Wynne.

On 3pm Sunday , there will be a panel discussion on migration hosted by award-winning author Leon Diop, entitled 'Ireland’s 100,000 Welcomes - But Where Are You Really From?'. 

Leon, founder of the Black and Irish podcast, will be joined by Director of Global Programmes for Trócair Noreen Gumbo, Syrian-born journalist and activist Razan Ibraheem and Law-student, activist and author Abdulai Mansaray.

Victoria Walshe, GOAL Global Citizenship Manager and co-creator of the Global Solidarity Hub, said:

“We are delighted to be taking part at All Together Now for the first time. The hub will be a weekend full of workshops, discussions, interactive exhibitions and guest artists that will inspire, question and challenge people’s perceptions about some of the biggest issues facing the world today."

The Global Solidarity Hub programme is curated by Dóchas, GOAL, Sightsavers Ireland and Trócaire.

Elsewhere at the Curious Minds area, at 1pm Saturday there will be a talk with film-maker Paul Duane ('All You Need is Death', 'The Dead Zoo'), actor Catherine Siggins with Cork author Danny Denton, accompanied with music from headliner John Francis Flynn. 

At 4pm, best-selling author Marian Keyes will be sitting down for a chat with Something Happens frontman Tom Dunne.
