Sewing repair workshop in Waterford

The sewing classes will take place in County Waterford
Waterford City and County Council has announced a series of sewing repair workshops and demonstrations as part of the 'Circular Economy' month initiative.
The repair workshops will take place on Friday afternoons, throughout October, at Central Library, Waterford, on Tuesday mornings in November, at Carrickphierish Library and in Portlaw Family Resource Centre on Thursday mornings, in November.
Sewing repair demonstrations will be held in Dungarvan Library at 6pm on October 10, while a similar demonstration will also take place in Ardkeen Library, Waterford, on October 4, at 10am.
In announcing the initiatives the local authority encouraged people not to miss out the chance to gain practical sewing skills and the opportunity to extend the life of clothes.
"Whether you’re a beginner or looking to brush up on your sewing techniques, this free workshop is for you," said the local authority on its website.
