Road closures announced for county Waterford ahead of L’etape Ireland Cycle

The roads will be closed on September 28 with some local access facilitated
Waterford City and County Council is advising the public that there will be a number of roads closed next weekend for the L’etape Ireland Cycle Event.
They are asking residents and motorists to plan accordingly.
Local access will be facilitated where possible.
And safety marshals will be stationed throughout the route.
The following public roads will be closed to through traffic on September 28, 2025:
- Ticincor Climb (L7082): From the junction of R680 to the junction of R671 (Ballymacarbry Village). Time: 09:15am – 10:45am Note: Local access available.
- R668: From R671 Junction (Newtown Crossroads) to junction of R668 (Convent Road). Time: 10am – 12pm.
- L1026 Lyre East Road: From Lyre East Road to the junction of R672. Time: 11:30am – 2pm.
- Beary’s Crossroads: L7025: From Junction of R672 (Beary’s Crossroad) to junction of R676 * Time: 12pm – 3pm.
- Seskin Hill: From the junction of R676 to the junction of R680. Time: 1:15pm – 4:20pm.
