Elizabeth Quinn, Pine Court, Tycor, passed away on Tuesday, April 21. Elizabeth’s funeral cortege passed Pine Court, en route to St. Paul's Church for her Requiem Mass on Saturday, April 25. Burial took place in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road, Waterford.

Richard (Richie) Power of Doneraile Place, Tramore, and formerly of Woodstown, Annestown, died peacefully on Thursday, April 23. Richie was laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore.

John (Sean) O'Toole, Ardkeen Village, departed this life on Thursday, April 23. A retired member of An Garda Síochána, he wished for a private cremation, which will take place at a later date.

Gary (Guf) Mooney, Hennessy’s Road, and formerly of Greenstar, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 23. Gary’s funeral cortege walked from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Monday, April 27, to Ballybricken Church for Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Kilbarry Cemetery.

P atrick Brophy, Ceannt Road, departed this life in the care of Mooncoin Residential Home on Friday, April 24. His funeral cortege will walk from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Tuesday, April 28, to Ballybricken Church for Requiem Mass, followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road.

Vera Loftus (née O’Leary), St Joseph’s Home, Ferrybank, died on Friday, April 24. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 28, in St Joseph's Home Chapel, followed by burial in Mount Melleray Abbey Cemetery, Cappoquin.

Maura Ryan (née Barry), Manor Lawn, passed away on Saturday, April 25. Requiem Mass was held in St. Paul's Church, Lisduggan, on Monday, April 27, preceding burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road.

Maureen (Mollie) Mannion (née Connolly) of Maypark Lane passed away in her 105th year of life at Tramore Nursing Home. Requiem Mass will take place at St. Mary's Church, Ballygunner, with burial planned in the adjoining cemetery.

Waterford County

Thomas Hallahan, Wokingham, Berkshire, UK, and formerly of Affane, Cappoquin, departed this life on March 30. He was the eldest son of the late Tom and Mai Hallahan of Hallahan’s Bus & Coach Hire, Affane, Cappoquin.

Pádraig Ó'Muirgheasa, Lismore, and formerly of Ballycoe House, Dungarvan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22. He will have a private cremation, with funeral arrangements to be confirmed at a later date.

Mary Flynn (nee McGivney) of Feddens, Rathgormack, Carrick-on-Suir, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 22. Requiem Mass took place at Saint Cuan and Brogán Church, Clonea Power, on Saturday, April 25, and was followed by private cremation.

Gabriel Daly (née Drummey), Byrneville, Dungarvan, died on Wednesday, April 22. A private cremation will take place on Monday, April 27, at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

Edward (Ted) Mullins, Coolfin, Portlaw, and formerly of Brown Street, Portlaw, passed away on Thursday, April 23. Requiem Mass took place in St Patrick’s Church, Portlaw, on Sunday, April 26, before burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Aylward (née Heffernan), Rochestown, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 23. Mary reposed in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Friday, April 24, before her burial in St. James’ Church, Glenmore.

Alice Walsh (née McKeon), Shanakill, Kilmacthomas, died on Thursday, April 23, at UHW. Funeral Mass took place on Monday, April 27, in St. Anne’s Church, Ballylaneen, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Maurice Dunford, Bohadoon, Dungarvan, died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 24. A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 28, in St Gobnait’s Church, Kilgobinet, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Curran (née Sullivan), Glenariska, Ring, Dungarvan, died peacefully at the Bons Secours Hospital, Co. Cork, on Friday, April 24. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 27, at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, Old Parish, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

James (Jim) Byrne MRCVS, Coolagh, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 24. Requiem Mass took place on Monday, April 27, in St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside, with internment in the adjoining cemetery.

Robbie (Robert) Whelan, Knockeylan, Lemybrien, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 25. Funeral arrangements will be confirmed at a later date.
