Patrick (Paddy) Vereker, Dominic Place, Waterford city, was called from this life on Wednesday, May 28. His remains were removed to The Holy Family Church on Sunday, June 1. Cremation took place the following day in Ringaskiddy.

Tony Curtin, Ballinakill, passed away on Tuesday, May 27. His remains were removed to St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, on Saturday, May 31. Burial took place following Requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in the adjoining cemetery.

Billy Kelly, Ard Na Greine, died on Tuesday, May 27. His remains were removed from Erin’s Own Gaelic Park, Poleberry, on Thursday, May 30, to The Holy Family Church. Burial took place after the requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in Fenor Cemetery.

Ellen (Nellie) Kennedy (nee Murray), Lisduggan, was called from this life on Monday, May 26. Her remains were removed from her home in Lisduggan to St Paul’s Church on Thursday, May 29. Burial took place following Requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in Kilbarry Cemetery.

Bridget (Bid) O’Rourke (nee Larrissey), Ferrybank, passed away on Tuesday, May 27. Her remains were removed from St Joseph’s Care Home, Abbey Road, Ferrybank, to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, Kilkenny, on Friday, May 30. Burial took place following Requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael (Dutchy) O’Meara, St John’s Park, died on Thursday, May 22. His remains will be removed from Tom Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, to The Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, on Tuesday, June 3 at 11:30am. Cremation will follow on Wednesday, June 4, at the Island Crematorium, Cork.

Anna Kelly (nee Murphy), Waterside Close, was called from this life on Wednesday, May 29. Her remains were removed from Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, to St John’s Church, Parnell Street, at 10am on Saturday, May 31. Terence (Terry) O’Reilly, Kilbarry and Ballybeg, died on Thursday, May 29. His remains were removed from Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, on Sunday, June 1, to St Saviour’s Church, Ballybeg. Burial took place following Requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in St John The Baptist Church Cemetery, Affane.

Thomas O’Meara, Pickardstown, Tramore, passed away on May 28, 2025. His remains were removed from Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, to the Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, on Saturday, May 31. Burial took place after Requiem mass, which was celebrated on arrival, in St Patrick’s Cemetery.
