A 'moderate' rain warning has been issued for County Waterford by Met Éireann.

The alert, which was relayed by Waterford City & County Council indicated spells of heavy rain are forecast with possible impacts including spot flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

The warning, which was given a status Yellow level, will be valid from 9am on Monday, February 17, until 6am on Tuesday, February 18. 

In addition to Waterford the warning is also place for counties Cork and Kerry.
