Protesters in Dungarvan on Saturday calling for sanctions on Israel and aid for Gaza
Waterford for Palestine and Gaeil ar son Gaza held a one-hour protest in Dungarvan Square on Saturday afternoon.
The group lined the street of the square banging pots and urging urgent action to end Israel's siege of Gaza and the famine that has spread across the strip.
Protesters chanted in Irish and English, holding pictures of emaciated children and demanding that the government sanction Israel and called for aid to be allowed into the starving population of Gaza.
The group are holding Bridgils weekly on a Friday morning on the footbridge over the N25 at Kilmacthomas and on the N25 Bypass Bridge near the Park Hotel Roundabout.
