Pedestrian dies following Waterford collision

Emergency services were at the scene of a serious collision in Ardmore, Waterford involving a pedestrian and a truck.
A man in his 60s has died following an incident involving a truck in Waterford.
On the evening of Sunday, June 9, the pedestrian was hit by a truck on the N25 near Ardmore, County Waterford and sustained significant injuries.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the pedestrian was transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck was reportedly uninjured.
Ten days after the collision, the pedestrian died in hospital.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
