Parents advised of delays as Waterford road works set to continue into September
The works are being undertaken from The Riverside Cottage to St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner
Waterford City and County Council is advising motorists that the roadworks on the L5529 Knockboy Road will continue until the end of September.
The works are being undertaken from The Riverside Cottage to St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner.
A spokesperson for the council said these works are to provide drainage facilities in the area for housing developments.
“While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, delays can be expected, particularly during school drop-off and collection times.
“Waterford City and County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks road users and local residents for their patience and cooperation,” said the spokesperson.
