Over a hundred children take part in Waterford county challenge

Waterford Scout County groups recently took part in a county challenge.
The challenge, which saw 13 teams competing, took place on the grounds of Woodlock House in Portlaw.
In total, 104 children took part, completing many tasks like First-Aid Base, orienteering bases, pioneering bases, fun bases and many more.⯠Saturday evening saw the parents and families of the kids coming out to view their sites and have a chat.⯠After that, they had a campfire and a few songs like We're going on a Bear Hunt and Kumbaya.
On Sunday morning, they took down theirâ¯site, packed everything away and then went to the closing ceremonyâ¯to find out the results of the weekend.⯠Tramore came first, followed by St Pauls in second and Portlaw in third place.
Three teams will go forward to the National Finals, and they are two teamsâ¯from 8th Tramore and one team fromâ¯the 31st Faithlegg.â¯â¯
