For over two decades, the Newtown Fundraising Committee has been a dedicated supporter of the Irish Kidney Association (IKA).

In that time the committee has raised substantial funds through a wide range of successful events.

This year, their efforts culminated in an impressive €3,000 donation, primarily generated from a giant raffle featuring a selection of fantastic prizes.

The committee extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed - whether by purchasing tickets, sponsoring the event, or donating prizes.

One of those involved commented: "Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference."

Among those in attendance at the cheque handover ceremony was Ray Halligan, Chairperson of the Waterford/South Kilkenny Branch of the IKA and the Chairperson of the fundraising committee, John Joe Bagge.

Also present were Mary Bagge, Anne Power and Martin McNamara.
