New District Court judge appointed for West Waterford

A new district court judge has been appointed for the courts in West Waterford.
Judge John O’Leary was welcomed at a sitting of Carrick On Suir District Court last week, according to local media.
Court District 21 covers the West Waterford courts of Dungarvan and Lismore, as well as parts of mid and south Tipperary, including Carrick-on-Suir and Youghal in Cork.
Judge O’Leary replaces Judge Brian O’Shea in District 21.
Judge O'Leary was appointed to bench as a travelling judge in 2019, having worked as a solicitor in Enniscorthy, Wexford.
