A Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) is planned for Dungarvan Town.
Works will include the construction of a 1,500 metre squared MUGA, extending to 50 metres in length and 30 metres in width, located in the grassed area behind Dungarvan Sports Centre.
The surface will be of a multi-purpose material and will be suitable for use in a variety of sports, and will include a walking/running track around the perimeter. Basketball hoops, nets and goals are planned as required, as is mesh fencing and ball-stop netting around the facility.
