Motorcyclist in critical condition following collision in Waterford

A man in his 50s is in critical condition following a collision involving a car and motorcycle in Tramore.
The driver of the car, a man in his 60s, was arrested at the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital Waterford, but no other injuries were reported.
The road is currently closed for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in Monvoy, Tramore, at approximately 7:40pm on Wednesday, July 9.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or footage, including dashcam footage, to come forward.
Any persons who were in the Monvoy Cross area between 7:30pm and 7:50pm and who may have witnessed the incident should contact investigating Gardaí.
