Man pleads guilty to Waterford City Centre assaults

A man pleaded guilty to three counts of assault in Waterford Courthouse last week.

Shane Crosbie, of 24 Aberdeen Street, North Circular Road, Dublin 7, admitted to assaulting a man in Waterford City on February 5, 2024.

The assaults occurred in the Applemarket, The Kazbar and Thomas Street area.

During court proceedings last week, an application was made for a probation and welfare report to be compiled for the man.

He was remanded on continued bail until the matter returns to court on April 15
