Major traffic delays on Outer Ring Road in Waterford due to traffic accident

The accident occurred on the Outer Ring Road in Waterford.
Traffic measures had to be introduced on the Waterford Outer Ring Road on Wednesday evening, August 4, due to an overturned vehicle on the Six Cross Roads roundabout.
The incident caused major traffic delays and shortly after it occurred vehicles stuck on the approach to the roundabout from Waterford City turned around on the road to exit via the prior roundabout.
Emergency services attended the scene and removed the vehicle and the road was re-opened initially to one lane.
At the time of publication Waterford Garda Station had confirmed to the Waterford News & Star that they were hoping to see the road fully opened again imminently.
