A major local road near Waterford City is to remain closed today, March 19, from 7am to 7pm, with the local council warning that delays should be expected.
The R448 at Dunkitt, Kilmacow will be closed to traffic from the junction with the L7448 and the L3405 for roadworks.
Kilkenny County Council have said that local diversions will be in place during for the duration of the roadworks but that local access will be accommodated when possible and safe to do so.
Kilkenny County Council said it appreciates the cooperation of road users and has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the roadworks.
