Information sessions are to take place in Waterford to discuss women's lives and the Magdalene Laundry in Waterford city during the 1960s-1980s
The information sessions, in advance of further research, will take place in the College Street campus of South East Technological University (SETU) on Tuesday, August 5 and Monday, August 11, from 11am to 1pm.
The sessions will take place in room HA23.
The organisers are encouraging members of the public to drop in. Refreshments will be provided.
The information sessions are part of MA thesis research in the Central European University and the Universidad de Granada.
However, they will also offer and open space to have a conversation about this overlooked period of Waterford history.
