WATCH: Fine Gael and Labour retain seats in Lismore as newcomer elected

It's a changing of the guard in the Lismore electoral area after new candidate, Niamh O'Donovan secured a seat for Fine Gael following the fourth count.

Labour's, Cllr John Pratt also retained his seat on the fourth count with a total of 1,392 votes. 

Ms O'Donovan won the seat with 1,370 votes and while her election means Fine Gael retains a seat in the electoral area veteran Fine Gael Councillor, Declan Doocey was eliminated.
