Judge Doyle acknowledged by Waterford legal eagles on her retirement

One of the country's most popular and highly respected judges was acknowledged in Waterford following her recent retirement as Circuit Court judge.
Judge Alice Doyle, who sat on the South Eastern Circuit for several years, had her last sitting in Dungarvan and to mark the fact the solicitors of Waterford City and County made a presentation to her.
A spokesperson for Waterford Law Society told Waterford News & Star, the presentation was made to acknowledge her retirement and to also wish her well after many years of service to the people of the Déise county.

Judge Doyle is also very well-known and respected in neighbouring counties Kilkenny and Wexford.
