It's time to shine in Waterford for wannabe rock stars

An event taking place this coming weekend in Waterford will give people an opportunity to strut their stuff on stage while at the same time give their support to a local sports organisation.
Ballyduff Lower LGFA will hold a lip sync battle, Time To Shine, on Saturday, October 5, at The Sweep Bar and it will be a great chance for people to strut their stuff and let their inner diva or rock star out.
One of those involved in organising the event commented: "Choose your partner, family members, friends to give the performance of a lifetime."
"Choose your song and wow us all with your outfit and then practice moving those lips to perfection," she added.
Participants will be free to choose whatever type of track they like whether it's a power ballad or rock classic while ingenious choreography will likely carry bonus points.
Rehearsals have been under way over the last number of weeks and all indications are that the event will be a great night out and all in support o a very worthy organisation.
