It's a 'fair cop'!

Members of the Gardaí in Waterford proved they were 'fair cops' when they attended an event in the county on Wednesday.

Members of the force's Mounted Unit were on duty at the Tallow Horse Fair.

In an online post on the An Garda Síochána Waterford Facebook page a spokesperson for the force noted: 'Members of the Mounted Unit in full trot here at Tallow Horse Fair'.

Members of the public were also encouraged to say hi to them if they were visiting the event.
