In Photos: The War in Spain and the Déise connection exhibition opens in Waterford

An exhibition commemorating 11 young men from Waterford who answered the call in 1936 to fight against fascism and to defend a democratically elected government in Spain has been opened in the Index Gallery of Central Library.
The exhibition was opened by Mayor of Waterford City and County, Councillor Seamus Ryan.
