Pictured at George's Court were Daffodil Day volunteers Imelda Scully, Margaret Breen, Carmel Walsh and Elma Walsh.

Daffodil Day, which is held nationally each year in support of the Irish Cancer Society, was a great success in Waterford with members of the public showing great support to the fundraising initiatives in the city. Waterford News & Star photographer, Joe Evans was there to capture images of those involved. Photos are also contained in the current print edition of the newspaper and also online here at waterford-news.ie.

Photos of other events are also available to view here on the website under the 'Archive' section and a collection of nostalgic photos from our archive, titled 'Colourful Memories of Waterford', is currently available as a fantastic photobook on sale at The Book Centre, in-store or through or office on Gladstone Street. Hard copy prints of photos are also available to buy through our office.
