Holiday engagements for Waterford sisters
Two Waterford sisters with their soon-to-be husbands on a family holiday in Malaga.
A local Waterford Councillor and his wife got not one, but two lovely surprises on their family holiday this week.
Cllr Seánie Power and his wife Nora are still celebrating a very special holiday, not just because the sun was shining, but because both their daughters, Helena and Shauna, announced their engagements.
"It’s been an exciting week here in Malaga," said the very proud father of four.
"Congratulations to my two beautiful daughters Helena and Shauna and their partners Jack and Ollie on their engagement."
Both proposals were carried out by Jack and Ollie while surrounded by the most beautiful scenery (nothing close to the Comeragh mountains, of course!).
Helena and Jack got engaged last week in the mountains in Italy, but kept it a surprise until the family got together for their holiday in Malaga on Sunday.
The wedding bells excitement continued as Shauna and Ollie were engaged on a cliffside in Malaga.
