Hindu festival returns to Waterford for its 5th year
Goddess Durga, the Hindu Goddess celebrated as part of the Durga Pooja festival
Durga Pooja, a Hindu festival celebrated primarily in Eastern India, will be celebrated in Waterford this weekend for the fifth year.
The festival will be an opportunity for people of all faiths to come together in celebration, in music, dance, and prayer.
The festival will be held in Treacy's Hotel this Saturday, October 17 from 2pm until 10pm, with devotional music, prayer and dance all evening including, Bhajans, Aarti, Pushpanjali and Mahaprasad, Garba and Dance.
The event is free of charge, and open to everyone.
