Here is where you can recycle your natural Christmas tree for free in Waterford

Two local authority amenity sites in Waterford will accept natural Christmas trees for free recycling until January 10.

Waterford City and County Council say that trees can be brought to the Kilbarry and Dungarvan sites, but are reminding the public of changes to opening hours this week.

Both sites are closed on New Year's Day but are open for the rest of the week.

The Kilbarry amenity site is open from 11am to 4pm.

The Dungarvan site is open from 8:30am until 1pm and from 1:30pm to 4pm.
