Waterford teen releases third single on Spotify
Hannah has just finished her third year of secondary school and is a member of the David Hennessy Stage School.
Hannah English, a third-year secondary school student from Waterford, has released her third single on Spotify this week.
The song is titled “Take a Guess” and Hannah told the Waterford News & Star “The inspiration for the song was I was having a really rough time in school and I used this song to process my emotions about it.”
She explained that she uses songwriting as a way to deal with life’s difficulties as well as a creative outlet.
Her second single, “That Stage” is all about her relationship to the David Hennessy stage school she has attended for ten years.
She said, “It’s like a second home for me.” Hannah told the News & Star she is “definitely” hoping to pursue a music career in the future.
She said the response she’s gotten from her friends and family has been “unbelievable.”
She said her friends and family have been flat out commenting on her posts, streaming her songs and sharing her music on their social media.
