Waterford music producers are 'born again' on collaborative new single

Noel Cleary (aka: Cloosh ) and Micko Roche's new single is called 'Born Again'
Next month will see the release of a brand new single from two stalwarts of the Waterford music scene.
'Born Again' is a collaborative single from well-known Déise musicians and producers, Noel Cleary (aka: Cloosh) and Micko Roche.
The track was created by Cloosh Music for his upcoming album release on Dance Artifakts New York City, and was re-imagined by Micko Roche for a summer single release on July 9.
Micko is a Waterford musician best known as the guitarist, vocalist and founding member of both The Madrigal and The Butterfly Band.
Writing and producing music as a solo artist since 2015, with the release of his debut album 'Bleu', co-produced by Steve Miller (aka: Afterlife) on the Subatomic UK Label.
Micko has since released two EP's and four singles very much in the ambient, chillout , soundtrack and Balearic styles, and even some reggae.
He collaborated with many international producers like Afterlife, Chris Coco, Jose Padilla, Pete Gooding, Jim Breese , Blank & Jones and Man in a Room.
However, this new track is a big departure into the world of dance music and Tech House.
Noel Cleary (aka: Cloosh), who is also from Waterford City, is an electronic improvisational dance music artist.
His music is influenced by early electro, dance , trip hop and chill-out.
Computer generated beats along with live instrumentation, complex arrangements and multi-layered textures form the basis of his music.
Cloosh has worked with artists such as Band of Clouds and they have made live appearances at electric Picnic and Body and Soul Festivals.
In 2021, Cloosh released his debut Single and EP Riptide on Dance Artifakts New York which included remixes from Terron Darby, Neill Flynn and Speckled Doves.
