The Kilkennys will bring the Christmas spirit

A great night out with a live band that enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the premiere contemporary Irish folk and ballad groups in the country,  might provide the ideal way to kick-start the run-in to Christmas.

The Kilkennys will be performing two nights at 'Live @ The Seantí' this month and although the first night, on Monday, December 29 is sold out there is still a limited number of tickets available for the following nights show, on Tuesday, December 30.

The group is noted for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charismatic rapport with audiences across the globe.

True champions of the Irish ballad and folk genre, the band members are like ambassadors for that particular style of music and song.

A spokesperson for the Seantí said: "We are delighted to welcome them back once again to 'Live @ The Seantí', for a very special Christmas show."

"It's guaranteed to be another fantastic evening of craic agus ceol," he added.

Such was the demand for tickets and interest in the initial show that a second date was added.

Doors will open at 7pm and the shows will kick off at 8pm on both nights.

Those going along should note that seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.

"There's no better entertainers in the business," said the Seantí spokesperson.
