Night of guitar music set for Waterford venue
The gig will take place on Friday, April 10 in Phil Grimes pub.
Following a sold-out debut performance last year, S. (Shane Barry) A. (Andrew Ryan) D. (Darragh O'Connor) will make a welcome return to Waterford with S.A.D. II, an evening celebrating the power and versatility of instrumental guitar.
Shane, Andrew, and Darragh will take to the stage upstairs in Phil Grimes on Friday, April 10, at 8.30pm, for what promises to be another unforgettable night of live music.
Their first show in Luca Records drew a full house and an enthusiastic response from audiences.

It was an event that highlighted the appetite that exists in Waterford for innovative live guitar music.
Building on that success, S.A.D. II will once again feature three solo performances, each showcasing the players’ distinct and individual musical voices and styles.
The night will culminate in a collaborative finale, which will see the trio combine forces for a dynamic ensemble performance of well-known tunes, reimagined through their collective sound.

Adding to the evening’s atmosphere will be support from Ailise O'Neill, whose distinctive voice and engaging live presence will set the tone for the night and what will follow.
The organisers of the gig said her performance promises to complement the instrumental focus of the headline set while bringing her own unique artistic perspective to the stage.

Speaking ahead of the show, the organisers said: “After the incredible response and sold-out crowd at our first show, we’re excited to bring S.A.D. back for a second instalment. It’s brilliant to see such strong support for live instrumental music in Waterford, and we’re looking forward to another special night."
