Local artists from SEA Art Group showcase latest exhibition in Tramore

Work on display at the SEA Art Group launch
The SEA Art Group launched its latest exhibition last weekend, showcasing an inspiring collection of original artworks by talented local artists.
Whilst on display at Church Road Hall, Tramore, the festive exhibition featured a diverse range of paintings created by members of the group who meet regularly on Thursday evenings to hone their craft.
Visitors enjoyed a stunning selection of works in a variety of mediums, from water color, oil painting, slate painting, dramatic portraits, acrylics and more, each piece reflecting the unique perspectives and talents of Tramore-based artists.
SEA art group is a community of artists based in Tramore, dedicated to fostering creativity, sharing knowledge, and connecting like-minded individuals.
The group provides a supportive environment where artists can grow their skills, exhibit their work, and be part of a vibrant artistic community. Artists benefit from shared expertise, socialising opportunities, and a supportive learning environment.
Jill Hincks of Sea Art Group said: “Every Thursday night everyone gets together, and if you might not have the appetite at home to sit and paint, when you come here and look at what everyone else is doing its really inspiring.
"Everybody is welcome it doesn’t matter what standard and we all get together and have a nice night."
In the group, artists also exchange tips, receive constructive feedback, and be inspired by the styles and techniques of fellow members.
Member of the group, Lillian O’Sullivan said: “It’s very hard to exhibit on your own, but when you’re in a group its lovely.
“We each have a different medium we use so we give classes to each other. When you start off in art you often don’t know what medium to use, so it’s nice to get to use different mediums before you decide which you prefer.”
