The Comeragh’s Wild Festival 2026 takes place this coming July.
Last year's Comeragh’s Wild Festival proved to be a roaring success, attracting massive crowds to the Comeragh region for a weekend of music, culture and community.
The festival returns this year with new acts and returning fan favourites.
The Comeraghs Wild Festival 2026 will officially open on Thursday, July 9, at 8 pm with a headline comedy event, 'Wild Laughs: Bernard Casey Live', taking place at The Village Bar, Rathgormack.
Bernard Casey’s live shows have sold out major venues including the INEC Killarney, Cork Opera House, and Vicar Street, as well as international performances in London and Boston.
Adding to the atmosphere on the night, music will be performed by Moylan Brunnock, ensuring a dynamic and entertaining opening celebration.
One of the highlights of this year's upcoming Comeraghs Wild Festival will be an open-air concert at Cooney's Yard, a venue that has proven hugely popular in previous years.
Taking place on Friday July 10, the much-loved mountain concert returns with a double bill of indie nostalgia an high-octane trad, when Cork favourites The Frank and Walters will share the stage with Ruaile Buaile.
Festival organiser Bernadette Drohan said the concert continues to be one of the defining moments of the cultural festival each year.
“The concert at Cooney’s Yard has become one of the most special parts of the festival. There’s something truly magical about people gathering together for great live music in the middle of the Comeragh Mountains on a summer evening."
On Sunday, visitors can expect to see 'An Evening of Song & Story' at Woodhouse Estate, Stradbally, with The Backyard Band, a powerhouse five-piece made up of three former members of the much-loved band Tweed.
Also taking to the stage are White Horse Guitar Club, music storytellers featuring eleven unique voices.
At Clonegam Church at 2.30pm on Sunday, is a performance from Duke Special.
